Agriculture Business

About the Program

The Agriculture Business program provides students career-ready training as well as coursework transferrable to a university. The program features small class sizes with an emphasis in applied academics. Butte College’s agricultural and technological facilities, along with local industry partners, offers the optimal environment for a dynamic academic experience. Many students become involved outside of class, participating in the Agriculture Ambassadors club and other activities.

Graduates of the Agriculture Business program are equipped to pursue their academic and career goals. Many students choose to transfer to premier agricultural universities, including Chico State, Cal Poly, SLO, and Oklahoma State University, among others. Students also enter the workforce directly and serve in leadership roles in farming operations and agricultural organizations, such as Farm Bureau.

The Agriculture Business program offers multiple Associate of Science degrees as well as a Certificate of Achievement. Please check out the academic programs site for details: Academic Programs

Career Opportunities
